Chair-reee@ 12:47 AM Christmas's over and now it's NEW YEAR EVE!How exciting that we are welcoming a brand new year, 2010! There's coutdown party directly below my house, and every year without fail, it's a blast! Music will be loud, crowded people jostling down the street. What i like most is that when it's gonna be midnight, the road will be blocked. And the whole walkway will be free from cars, like you owned the road! HAHA! Tommorow's probably gonna go rac house, maybe after that go experience the countdown atmosphere.Supposedly tomorrow's gonna be belated birthday celebration for serene and cheryl, but i have no idea why suddenly it was postponed. I thought i am finally done with purchasing the presents for the belated christmas exchange, until cindy mentioned about it. The most important one, yet i forgotten.I am gonna hunt for one present tmr,perhaps. Oh, and it was nice to see one of my GB officer on the bus today! we chatted on the bus till she alighted to go home.Sometimes,it's really nice to catch up with those that you haven't seen for long.Updating each other about our life, how we progress is exciting and interesting. :) Okay,to end i just hope that 2010 will be a smooth-sailing year! Thursday, December 24, 2009 Chair-reee@ 1:09 AM Hurray! It's the all year round Christmas season again! Are you doing a last minute shopping for Christmas Gift Exchange? Or did you enjoyed pushing the crowd?Are you experiencing the atmosphere? Yeah, I experienced them.Had a fufiling and packed week though.Last sunday,was kbox with dearest friends.Then headed to watch Eirene's performance at Orchard. But, we missed it because of the misunderstanding of the venue. Hmms, then we shopped around and chilled at Macdonald's. Had a small gift exchange also.We hang around orchard till very late, and I missed the last train home. Well, when I bided goodbye t eirene, I too the escalato up to the east west line.Being someone who has no sense of directions, I headed to the wrong one, actually the exact place again feeling both happy and relieved that there was still people waiting for the east-west line train. Then did i realised that it was the wrong one heading to paris ris line. So I made a U-turn, but the train towards Joo Koon was empty.So the red line train was besides it and there was still a glimpse of hope.So, i waited for the red line and asked one of them about the timing of the last train.It was 1205am thankfully, but to my horror, the tran terminates at KRANJI.It was very far away from my house, and thinking that it was midnight hour, the cab fare home will cost a bomb. I was so distressed thinking about the cost of the cabfare and also about traveling alone home.I reached Kranji about 1 plus, and i wanted to hail for a cab till miraculously, i saw a bus. Thankfully, it will bring me to JURONG EAST.I jumped to joy and board the bus.I alighted somewhere near jurong east and cabbed home. The very next day, wanted to surprise Eirene by making a trip down to East poin shopping mall at Simei. But esther ended work late at around 630pm, but we made the last effort to rush for the mrt train.We were panting and nearly out of breath.And we definitely have no time to rush to see the performace which starts at 7, so we wanted to abandon the idea and go somewhere for dinner. So we headed to dohby ghaut exchange to dine at Just Acia. Today was a fufiling day too, with the completion of all my elearning assignments. YAY! so proud of myself, but just hoping that i can also finish my chlt , that two storybooks faster to complete my work before school starts. Because when school starts , it means open house and definitely leaves me no time to finish work. And YES, CHRISTMAS IS HERE ! A NEW YEAR, 2010 IS ALSO GONNA ARRIVE IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE. can time rewinds ? Sigh.
Tuesday, December 1, 2009 Chair-reee@ 12:09 AM This blog is dying,because i have been real busy.(all the while). Feeling relieved at last when i'm done with my children's literature individual presentation today!The tutorial room was cold that made my hands clammy.The lecturer go according to randomly pick anyone for presentation.That kept me in suspension,totally. And like always, i'm always being laughed at! At my silliness,but my friend said it is a positive sign because of my entertainment.Then i replied her with 'if entertainment serves as a criteria'.Alright,finally a burden off my head. Tomorrow's speech and presentation module test on IPA. I hate IPA,because it is so tedious.Imagine pronouncing it with all the funny wierd sounds that each IPA symbols, totally insane! I really take my hat off to those who can even use IPA fo writings,like what Ms chong said that during her uni times,some do prefer it. ALright, there are always endless things to accomplish. DEADLINES HERE AND THERE.I'll like to ask if there is a bookmark to allow us to stop a day? (as quoted from my friend)
